Work is not too bad this morning, lots more time for me to be on the net. I've been addicted to CS:S lately. The zombie killing maps are fun

We got a storm this morning and it looks like a little more is on the way. Glad it is raining, I like the rain.

cable here is bad---just watching it it cuts out, drops and the wonderful grounds crew for our condo area likes to cut cable lines....so cable here is BAD! not much going on here, watching my bday party balloons deflate....though I think the easter one is going to win since its been here for a bunch of months already and still looks good....some of the others are only a few days old and going already.

hey heard they shut down part of the airports around chicago for that storm that went thru yesterday (thats gotta be pretty big news if it was on our tv)....hope all you people around there are ok!

Ah cable is more accessible here then DSL.

Ya their were some BAD storms up there last night. My gf lives in the area and told me about them. We had some bad storms here today. Knocked out our power at work today. We had about 2/3'rds power this morning then at about 10am we only had 1/3rd power, and at 1:20pm we lost all power. Good fun.

Didn't do much, actually played catch for about an hour with my brother. lol

lol Well considering I work with all guys... ya I don't think so... blackout at work=nothing to do

The countdown is days left of work for me. I only have 5 days left of work before I am done for the summer. Pretty excited about that.

oh yeah at work if the power goes out....hm.
that happened to me once and my hubby once in the same year (one was my birthday the other our anniversary.....bad vibes).

on my bday the whole state had no power....I had taken the day off work, but my hubby had to work ---I was going to pick him up and then we were going out to dinner. Well the power went out...I thought it was just my street, but after I got off the expressway and couldnt move....well when I finally made it to his building --they had power via their own generator, but all of the employees were hanging out in the lunchroom....

now when the power went out when I was at work....they wouldnt let us leave even though there was no lights where we were and no windows (I worked for a bank doing check proofing--there was a reason for the window-less rooms)....but after about an hour of 50 of us sitting around doing something like a marco polo thing (so we wouldnt hit people) they finally let us leave...we went to the starbucks....it had power, so it was nice to leave the building (oh and the a/c was out too...so leaving meant fresh air)....

so yeah I know what you mean about what do to at work with no power. Eat lunch, talk, make paper airplanes......sleep if you can find a nice soft spot on the floor where no one will hit you-----
